Short description

EWI – FRIS and Ghent University Library Boekentoren want to leverage the current available metadata from the research publications. We want to explore that metadata, combined and/or enriched with other data sources that are delivering added value to researchers. We will use this to motivate and inspire researchers to keep sharing their publications in a durable, qualitative and sustainable way.

EOSC (European Open Science Cloud) According to the European Commission, "EOSC is an environment for hosting and processing research data to support EU science."

OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe) OpenAIRE is a socio-technical infrastructure for scholarly communication and Open Science.

• OpenAIRE HTTP API: the APIs are free-to-use (no sign-up needed) by any third-party service. (Up to 7200 requests per hour, but soon to decrease.)

OpenCitations OpenCitations is an independent infrastructure organization for open scholarship dedicated to the publication of open bibliographic and citation data.

• COCI is the first open DOI-to-DOI citations index. It contains almost 450 million citation links coming from both the ‘Open’ and the ‘Limited’ sets of Crossref reference data.
