Current situation:
The application works but it consists of mostly spaghetti code. It has too many unnecessary features and no visualizations of the insights. We can try to clean up the spaghetti code but it might be a better idea to start over from scratch.
Tasks at hand:
Create a user-friendly interface
Create an interface that visualizes the calculated data which allows users to gain and present new insights
Find a good way for importing the data.
Our client did a good job documenting the formulas.
Make use of the existing classes to do all calculations Take a look at the formulas that are used to make calculations and maybe even reuse them from the spaghetti code monster.
Release our work as open-source 💪
